Totally agree. My son is 18 and is doing VERY VERY well and the majority of his friends (all through high school - he had a LOT of them) they hung out at our house a LOT ---- I have faith in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.......
I don't doubt this generation of kids at all.

I agree. There is good and bad in everyone, and yes a lot of young people do get into trouble that is unnecessary, but it is not every young person and there really are some good young people out there.

I agree....my two friends had to actually in the front of a convenience store once while I went to get the drinks because they had a sign posted that there are not supposed to be more than 3 teens in the store close to each other at the same time...It made us all so angry that they took the stereotype view that all teens will steal something because they're bad hooligans

i agree, I'm 14 and teenagers get bad coverage all the time. Some teens deserve bad press but that doesn't mean were all bad and going to hang around on street corners or steel things from shops.

From my personal experience young people are probably 75% good people. The 25% that can ruin it for the majority are the ones doing drugs and creating havoc. They will more than likely grow up to be the ones we have problems with. I watch young people going off to school every day and playing in baseball games in the park. I have faith in the youth of today, the same way adults had faith in me when I was growing up.

I do agree that most young kids are not bad at all. But the press realizes that teen drinking, alcohol-related car deaths, Meth abuse, prescription drug abuse, suicide and arrests for other things are the highest they have even been in American history.
Its so bad in fact, that sweeping generalizations are almost demanded to happen.

I agree. I think allot of the trouble is that there is nothing for the kids to do but hang around late opening shops and pubs getting bored and lack of discipline at home.

Please! Cheers, Tom
EDIT: It really is worth having a look at for other people's comments - I would also appreciate more comments from you on the blog! Sorry for the plug....
Oh, and where is the star for this questioner!
