when we are ill we have to keep going no matter what but when men get ill there dying and they just lay in bed all day wanting us to wait on and give them lots of tlc but they never bother then we are ill

* Sweety I can tell you have been there done that! I have gone to work many times when I didn't know how I was going to put one foot in front of the other! And then come home & feed the family, take care of the dogs, feed the fish, and clean up the mess. All while the KING sat in his recliner with the 'sniffles'!

I think I'm so lucky 'cause I have a man that never gets sick I have been married with him for almost five years and he has gotten cold just two times and he was like if nothing happens. I am the one that is always with headache and he is very kind at me he cooks and clean the house for me too. He babies me a lot but honestly I think there are not too many like him I know a lot of men that are just like you are talking about.

I had a doctor and a nurse tell me once that they much rather deal with a woman patient than a man. Women listen better they said and actually do what they are told to get better. Men tend to think that they know more than every one else and are lazier when it comes to their health. At least that is what I was told. My soul mate isn't that way but I am just repeating what the health professionals told me.

Yup! Men are like babies! They love to be taken care of! When I'm sick, i take care of everyone at home! I still cook, clean and put up with their crap. When I'm sick the most my boyfriend has done is bring me some water for my pills! LOL. Every man is the same way....Get use to it. I don't mind because I've gotten use the fact.

I'll agree that alot of men are like this. My husband normally makes me stay in bed if its that bad. I try to keep going but when i get bad he'll stay home from work to take care of our son. He's great and I am very lucky to have him!

While it takes an awful lot less for my sweetie to stay home in bed sick that it does me, on those occasions when I am sick, he really does do his best to take care of me. He often doesn't have a clue how, but he sure does try. He's a keeper!

totally agree!!!!!! i could be on my death bed and i still have to go to school, work, take care of our daughter, go to the grocery, run his errands, clean the house, wash the dishes and clothes, have dinner ready for us when he gets home, then bathe the baby and get her to bed and spend time with him and go to bed.........................when he is sick...i have to do all of that plus tend to his ever need...and god forbid i sit down for a second..he is calling my cell phone from the next room..babe can you do this for me and get that...ugh!!! there was a time that i actually had to bathe him, dress him and put him in the car and take him to the ER! diagnosis- a cold and dehydrated! i wanted to slap him....hahaha

You really have a high opinion of yourself it seems.... Don't put all men in that group lady because you are just showing how ignorant you are..... I have not missed a day of work in over 10 years sick or well and when my wife has been sick I would come home at lunch time stop and get her soup or whatever make sure that she takes care of herself and gets rest.... cook clean, etc..... so she was the one being the baby not me so I resent your remarks and that smug look on your avatar's face
