I am fiddling with some jewellery making and wondered is it possible to make any money and how do I sell it - there is too much available on Ebay, so any other ideas?

Make it and sell it to friends and neighbors, be as unique as possible so people will ask about it and then want some for themselves. Have home parties and have others host parties in their homes. Wear your own out wherever you go and keep items in your bag with you so you can pull it out and sell it on the spot. Get your own website started. Go to local retail shops and ask if they will sell it on consignment for you or even buy it wholesale.

there are many places to sell your jewellery. some of the ones mentioned below (etsy etc. ) are great ideas, as they are cost effective. However, do note if you set up a PayPal account you will have to pay a small nominal fee and they will take a small percetage of the sales you make although, if you will be doing quite well sales wise that should not be an issue. another thing you can try is setting up a blog, and blogging about the new pieces you are making and have available for selling and go from there. if you wan more information on how you can start selling your jewelery in today's economy I have included some links below that I find very helpful.

Hi Helen !

Have you ever thought to import some precious stones from other country ? . I am just starting a small gemstone business in my country(BRAZIL) and would like to know how does the gesmtone business work abroad. Consignment is one of the first step that we could do. Brazil has the most production of coloured stone of the world, like aquamarine, tourmaline, amethyst, etc. We could talk about it without compromise. Feel free to get in touch with me. My MSN account is olavooshiro2007@hotmail.com

You could try ebay, maybe carboot sales, selling it at craft fairs and maybe starting up your own online business selling them.
