Whomever said tulips- I second that.
Roses are too overrated. I've always been unimpressed when a guy gave me roses. Do a little research and find out what my favorite flower is, you lazy dolt.
Tulips, on the other hand, are very simple but very pretty. Unlike roses, which are way too over the top for my taste and kind of bland looking.
I also like daisies. They just look so happy.

Any which have a perfume plus I prefer them living in the garden or a plant pot rather than cut and in a vase: perfumed roses, gardenias, passionflowers, honeysuckle...lots more but these are what spring to mind. Perfumed roses especially :)
