My dream quiet place is by myself in a study. I can picture the room dark with lamps everywhere. I would have papers on a desk, books scattered everywhere, and nice leather furniture. I wish it were true.

My Dream place at the moment is a balcony in the home we (wife and two daughters) will be building next year... it's in the tropics, and I can't wait to sit out on the 6 foot deep balcony, listening to the rain patter on the steel roof, with my wife snuggled up next to me in a padded wicker plantation seat. The wood will all be painted white, the roof will be sky blue, there will be teak french-doors leading to the bedrooms, and bouganvilla will climb the pillars.

I would love a house on a hill that looked like a modest bungalow from the front. However as you went inside there were several levels going down the hill, each with large sunny windows overlooking a nice view The stairs runing through the centre would have a fountain running along side.
Somehow the garden would have some nice flat terraces that you could sit out on and wisteria climbing up the sides.
We can all dream........
