My ex husband bought me wonderful expensive presents, once even a new car. But two of the best gifts I ever got came from him and didn't cost much at all. When we first started dating I came home from work soaked because I had got caugt in the rain, the next day he had bought a umbrella for me. Also, on our honeymoon, we were flying over seas and had a very long airplane ride, he bought a autobiography for me by one of my favorite film directors. It showed me that he was paying attention when I was saying how much I admired the guy. He was a great gift buyer, too bad that he couldn't be a faithful husband.

For Valentine's Day? My husband (then my boyfriend) made a treasure hunt for me, with lots of little gifts full of meaning, ending at the restaurant where we had our first date.

If you mean in general, I don't know if I can specify one particular gift. I've been very blessed by the people in my life.

I suppose though, I would consider the greatest gift I've received to be the love, freedom, and eternal life God has given me.

I mother's day card that was made by my middle son, with a poem, he had written himself, in it. Oddly enough this son is the one, out of four, that I butt heads with the most.
