Call the police. And have them fined for not paying attention to their damn dog.

Hey buddy, I know I can't really relate to your life, but I can relate to those feelings of Depression, loneliness, ect. It's not fun being in a place like that, especially a t 17. You have probably been dealing with a lot more than others should and I can understand why you are so upset. Look, I have had those feelings of suicide, and personally, I never want to have those feelings again. Well, what you need to do is open up to someone, (a coach if you are in sports, a close friend from your old school, a counselor, or a close relative if you can.) I know you are in a lot of pain and are thinking that talking to someone wont work, but trust me, opening up is the first step to recovery. From there, you can pinpoint your depression to major issues and learn how to deal with them in a therapy class or rehab hospital. P.S. Imagine how your mother who has been through so much to care for you guys (even attempting to remarry because she wanted you guys to have a father figure) feel if you got rid of yourself.

You're asking the right guy...(another true story...)
The last major band I was in was called "The Ticking Bombs..."
...and then a "howling dog at night" and a "flock of birds chirping in the early morning" broke us up...
I relate to your sleepless rage...
Welcome to the World, beautiful...it's a friggin forest and jungle out there...

I used to feel that way.
Then I started sleeping with a wind tunnel fan that I got for $28.00 a Walgreen's.
You can turn them in any direction and they make a lot of "white" noise that drowns out everything else, like helicopters, trains, howling dogs, sirens.
The fan is now described as my "personal serenity device".

I think all ticking time bombs are running out of time. About the dog... you could always call the police, or you could do what my cousin did (which I don't really recommend): he took out his shotgun and killed his neighbors barking dog. He was arrested, of course (my cousin, not the neighbor or his dog).
