Where can I find a appraisal value for a civil war diary?

I have my great-grandfather's civil war diary from 1863. He was at the battle of Chickamauga. Who can I contact (a reputable person) to find out it's value? Thanks for any help!!

Ask at your local public library, they may be able to help you find a local appraiser. Get someone who's certified!
