Teachnically; yes.
But, as always, our government is vague. They say "The People of Texas must agree to divide the state". Well, what does that mean? Does that mean if just one person, out of the millions in Texas, can prevent this from happening? Is there a minumum age to vote on the issue? Or can a 12 year old be held be accountable in the situation? Or, what if people simply don't vote?

It would've happened right away if it were to have ever happened at all.

It can be divided into 4 or 5 states. It will never happen as long as I am alive. Born and raised in Texas. "Don't mess with Texas."
