Please tell me with the struggles of Fausto Carmona and CC Sabathia in the postseason that Beckett has got it nailed down. Can anyone think of a reason why Josh Beckett shouldnt win the Cy young award?...only 20-game winner in MLB...4-0 in postseason with an ERA UNDER 1.20....started 9-0...got the win in the all-star game...deals with Boston pressure...only 26 years old...should I go on? or can you make a better arguement?

Baseball is for morons who find the fast, unrelenting pace of high school girl's badminton too much to handle.
I would rather help somebody move then go to a baseball game.
The next time you feel the need to clog up the hockey section with baseball garbage, do us all a favor, go outside and slam your hand in your car door 3 times. That will cure any further temptation.

The voting for the Cy Young award is done 2 days after the season ends until 5 days after the season ends. So, the winner was decided on October 5th.

K, you f'n IDIOT, THIS IS HOCKEY SECTION FFS STOP POSTING YOUR $HIT ABOUT BASEBALL( no matter how much i love the sport) IN THE HOCKEY SECTION CAUSE IM GOING TO SLAP YOU.
By the way, Josh Beckett has no competition what so ever, if the Blue Jays made it into the playoffs and got to the ALCS then he might of had Hallady as some competition, but like you said, he's got it nailed.
