That's funny. I NEVER tip the casino employees and
valet parking here at the riverboats here in Indiana.
Unless I hit my jackpot that I so deserve, I will NEVER tip them, either here in Indiana, or there in vegas if I ever go to Vegas.

I never tip valet, I never tip slot techs, I never tip the waiters and waitresses at their buffets, and I never tip the cocktail waitresses. Unless I hit my well-deserved jackpot, it will be a cold day in hell when I tip them.

Are you asking a question, or looking for a soapbox?

The sad truth is that Vegas workers are sorely underpaid. I'm sure if they could help you hit your jackpot, they would. Don't punish employees for you not having astronomical luck.

For the record, in many places, employees who can earn tips are taxed under the assumption of a certain amount of tips. By not tipping, they're paying taxes on money that you never gave. Make sense?

Are you financially strapped after gambling away your "hard earned" money? It's considered proper to tip in the scenarios you mentioned. $1-$2 for valets, after they return your car, $1 for the cocktail waitresses and $1-$3 for the servers at the buffets. You can choose to tip the slot attendants if you've won a jackpot, but it's not required. It would make you look good and remembered too. You never know when some of these people may have "tips" for you too.

A lot of these employees make very little in hourly wages. Some make less than $6 an hour. For you not to tip, you are taking money off the table that feeds their children.

Las Vegas casino workers rely on tips to pay the bills. Without tips, they become homeless. Is it really too much to ask to leave them $2 for good service? You'd appreciate a tip if it were left to you.

Do you tip cab drivers? The valet is a person who runs across the blazing hot parking lot to get into my oven of a car, starts the AC and brings the cooled down car to me ... he deserves the tip I give him. Cocktail waitresses are bringing FREE beverages of your choosing to you while you just sit there. They are on their feet all day waiting on people like you. They also deserve a tip. I usually tip them for what I would have paid for the beverage. In the buffets they do fill my drinks and get me anything else I need. They deserve also though not as much as a regular waitress.

Even though you don't tip them they will be nice and cordial to you in spite of you being you. Just shows the class of everyone here.

I truly hope you are way underpaid for the work you do too.
If not you need to have your pay cut by 50%.
Then you will think about tipping in a differant world.

Well you can live in your own world.
You are a minority ... people live for the tips in service industry.
But you can continue to live your way.
