No way, given that Americans now account for less than 20% of the total global internet population (the biggest group are Asians, predominantly from China, Singapore etc).

I hear too many Brittish terms that remind me they're out there. I did a poll last week and 30% that answered were English, 60% American, and the rest were scattered in 3rd world countries.

I'm Canadian and I assume most are American. It's the "yeaah baby id hit dat!" comments that do it for me.
