No way, given that Americans now account for less than 20% of the total global internet population (the biggest group are Asians, predominantly from China, Singapore etc).

I hear too many Brittish terms that remind me they're out there. I did a poll last week and 30% that answered were English, 60% American, and the rest were scattered in 3rd world countries.

I'm Canadian and I assume most are American. It's the "yeaah baby id hit dat!" comments that do it for me.

I always feel like the majority of people are American.

Not everybody is american because YAHOO spreads thru the whole entire world. My grandpa has one to and he is from India.
