Honestly, it 35 years of cooking over Webers, Coleman, 50-gallon drums... 3 different smokers, a turkey fryer, etc... I have NEVER seen an electric grill worth the money.

Up at the ranch, we cook over propane (in and outdoors).

An electric or gas grill merely cooks your meat,fish or vegetable.
Charcoal will cook also but in addition the charcoal
will ad flavor to your BBQ. For meat I prefer to use
hickory,readily available in the UK.
