I have a firm and friendly handshake. It shows you are interested in meeting a person and shows a little respect. To firm and you're trying to show someone you are more powerful and too limp is a very passive or disinterested greeting. It tells alot about a person and as they say,"first impressions.....!

Yep firm and friendly. Tells you a lot about the person. There is nothing worse than a limp wet handshake. Makes you want to wipe your hands on your trousers!

Firm and friendly with a touch of love. I HATE those limp ones. How can anyone grab your hand and limply shake it?
I remember going on a job interview years ago and I went to shake this womans hand and it was so limp I'll never forget it. After that I always vowed that mine would be the best ones ever.
