Oh who knows. Just go down the list of usual suspects.

a) Make sure there's enough, but not too much, oil in the engine. If there's too much, let some out.
b) If your motorcycle has a distributor, have a look at it, clean the points, make sure the rotating thingie hasn't come loose from its proper position.
c) Have a look at the spark plug. Clean it off. Adjust its gap to within spec (don't trust your mechanic to adjust the gap; in my experience, they just take the spark plug out of the box and put it on the motorcycle without checking the gap).
d) If your air filter element is dirty, clean it and oil it (if it's the kind that can be cleaned and oiled).
e) Check your battery, clean off the terminals, fill to the proper level, trickle charge it. Be sure to use the right voltage and amps when charging.
f) If there are other electrical contacts your bike has, check 'em and clean off the corrosion.

Beyond that, well, there are other things better done by a professional, such as
adjusting the timing
cleaning and adjusting the carburetor

its probly your top end all the stuff that person listed is just maintinance that you should do to keep your bike up. but you probly need a new head piston and rigs. a yz125 is a race bike and needs new pistons all the time so if u ride hard get used to it.

Always give "year", "make", engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Most likely the top end needs to be rebuilt (cylinder, piston & rings).

When was the top end rebuilt last?
Do you have a "hot spark plug"?
Has the reeds ever been replaced?
What are you mixing your fuel at?
