Trying to make the kids hate you? Lol, they will put a flaming bag of dog pooh on your porch or TP your house!

I've been giving our cute pencils w/notepads for a few years. Some people even give change. Neighbors do the same. We get the same or more amount of children every year. Sorry, am one of those Grandmas who thinks about the teeth!
Seen too many kids with painful abcesses, spacers and permanent teeth with gigantic fillings. There are only 1-2 dentists providing Medicad,(free dental-routine checkups) within a several county area, and only 1 who does the caps and difficult work,-who is 1 1/2 hour away. Have seen children w/ tooth pain. We as adults know what it is like. Can you imagine a child w/ that pain?

I actually bought some small party favors and already mixed them in with my goodies. I'm sure the little ones won't tire of candy but I thought it would be a real TREAT to find something fun. I put in spider rings and ghost whistles. I just thought it was something different.
Let's hope not everyone goes by this list or the kids won't want to trick or treat as much!!!
I would like a couple of those goodies, but I know I was always after the CANDY!!!

I do include a few candies in the bag, but I put in a lot of fun things too, like those mentioned above, and little craft kits. I get all my stuff at the dollar store, except the candy, of course. Kids around here love my treats, and some mothers have reported that their kids have started new hobbies because of these little kits.

When kids are wearing their masks, you can't see the expression on their face as you drop boring junk in their bag.

The most appealing thing from the list is the playdoh. But other then that, who thinks a kid wants something they can use in school like a pencil?

These are the same people that give kids clothes as presents

Few are good. The rest yeah kids aren't all about not getting candy. These would be good for little children not the older ones
