It's simple. Treat the < sign as an equal sign. Just carry the 6 over to the other side.

so: 10 = 10+6 =16
or

x>16

which is K.

Alright dude, just forget the inequality sign and treat it like a normal equation. So the 6 goes to the other side and becomes +6. 10+6 is 16. That leaves 16

If 10 < (x - 6), then 10 + 6 < (x - 6) + 6. You do the next step.
