ok well im from a family of 5. 3 girls ages 11 12 and 14 im the oldest and my parents are together. so this past summer my mom had surgery and then in her recovery 2 weeks later she was in a fatal accident. thankfully she lived and tore many ligaments in her knee. my friends mom was in the same accident and broke her neck and back in many places but is not paralyzed. my friend, my two little sisters and i were all at this accident and saw the whole thing which was very scary. the whole summer my sisters and i took care of my mom because my father has been taking many vacations and not helping out. i had not been to church all summer, so god was not very much in my life. during this time i just lived life day to day and "lived in the moment". i have completely changed and am a very different person now. i used to take everything for granted but i try not to anymore, seeing my mothers life almost gone and i do not know what i would do without her. =]

Too personal for public display, but I have my Faith and self confidence that gets me through it. Besides I keep realizing that I have gone through a lot before in life and have always survived it.. so someday I will look back on this and say That wasnt so hard. A hundred years from now, who is going to know the difference or care anyway.

Even though I was closer to my Dad than my Mam, both lovely people just I was a Daddy's Girl, Mam's funeral was the worse of the two.

I woke up on a lovely June day and I thought "I can't do this, I'd been her carer and although Dad held on to his last shred of cognitive ability until the day she died, the love of his life had gone and ... he gave up and by the time her funeral came round, his Parkinsons had taken full hold of him and his mental deterioration was tangible in just that one week.

I had to be strong for him .... I had to stop the tears coming because he'd have been more concerned why his 'little girl' was upset than saying goodbye to the woman he loved.

He died four years later and I didn't have to be strong for anyone after that.

I have an undiagnosed illness in my joints. Very stressful, we don't know what it is, and it causes me a lot of pain. And my friends and family help me get through it. It makes me have a very high tolerance for pain at least!
