What are some colleges that aren't community colleges that would except you if you had about a 2.85? I don't see my GPA ever getting above that. I do want to get into a college and my SATs are decent in math but very good in the reading and writing.
Sorry about the spelling mistake before.

I was also in Drama last year, Choir before that, art club last year and I'll be joining the literary club this year. Does that help when getting into college? Should I mention these or do they not really matter?

I live in Massachusetts, and I'm only a junior so I know my GPA will be getting better, I'm just not sure if it will be in time for them to notice.

It really depends on where you live, there are a lot of colleges that would really accept that even though its not really impressive. If you said your SATs are decent then you do have a shot. Like I live in New Jersey, my gpa is 3.4 and I want to go to Rutgers. Rutgers Camden or Newark would accept you. You didn't put where you live so its hard to decide which colleges would accept you!

Unfortunately you are probably only going to be accepted at a Community College with that grade average
you will need to prove yourself with better grades to make the move into a University

Princeton Review's web site has a tool where you enter information about your background and interests & it spits out a list of schools that are appropriate for you.

Your gpa is just fine. But scholarship go to people with higher gpa. I would apply where ever you want to go to college.
