How do i refresh my connection in vista? pls dont tell me answers like turn of router and turn on again... i want some code which will work in vista so i can save it and move it to "startup"... and hence my connection will be refreshed everytime i turn my computer on.... hope u get it... pls helpppp

Well, first off, you're doing it backwards. You have to release the adaptor before you can renew it.

FYI, your connection is automatically "refreshed" when you boot your computer. What exactly are you trying to do -- or what specific problem are you having?

On the Network connections, you can desable it and enable it again.

The reason that it don't work on Vista that it don't have the same commands.

Make sure your networking is set to get its IP info from DHCP.
