Is it possible to get a baby to wear a hat. I have all kinds of cute hats, but my baby takes them off, even the ones that tie under their chins! I don't want her to wear it all day, just for an hour or so!

My son is the same way. Its getting really cold here now. And he will no wear a hat. He is 4 months old. He will scream and cry. So what I do, and its been working,is I put it on him while he's eatting. He'll get alittle mad at first, but as long as he's eatting he's fine. I do that a couple times a day. And he's starting to get used to it and not mind anymore. He was born in June, which was about 100 degrees and really humid, so hes used to being in just a diaper. So its been hard trying to get him used to dressing warm. But try that, while shes eatting, thats when they are most content. It will take time but like I said my son is getting alot better about it now. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Its like trying to keep a hat on a puppy or kitten. Some children don't care what you put on them but others find it annoying or distracting. I'll bet she pulls out barrettes and head bands too. Obviously she has a sensitive head and this bothers her. When the weather gets cold, a coat with a hood would be a good solution.

If she takes it off then it is annoying her. Even at 5 months old they have likes and dislikes. She's already her own person! Appreciate that.

You can't, she takes them off because she's uncomfortable.
