i have diarrhea of the keyboard when it comes to asking, i just can't stop

There are times when we see things as nursing students, such as where someone has let a benign tumor grow to the size of a basketball, or when a woman has breast cancer so bad that her breast actually doesn't look like anything recognizable, that we so badly want to ask. However, we can't no matter how much we want to know why they didn't seek treatment earlier. It is hard not to though...
