Okay, haven't studied it too much - my two cents - too resorty to be NYC - and techy - hmmm mix between seattle and high-priced resort area (can't think of one...florida? France? Greece?) (I live in ski country). Resort and Techy doesn't scream NYC. But Dubai is hot. Definitely hot. (pun intended)

Dubai is more like miami, las vegas and LA kinda. i live in NYC i guess abu dhabi is moe like manhatten, tall buildings, surrounded by waters, commercial area.

Not really! Even the traffic is a hell, you cannot walk like in NYC. You will die!
