On a cold morning, when the sun was hot and the wind cold, I could see the shadow of my head steaming out!!
Is that dehydration? Evaporation of my body's liquids? Someone said it was my body loosing it's warmth...
What was it?

I'm guessing this happened on a humid morning. What you saw is called a "mixing cloud," and it forms when air of two parcels of undersaturated air mix to form a saturated parcel. In your case it was the sweaty air coming off your head mixing with the cool moist morning air. It's pretty much the same thing as when you "see your breath", but it looks a bit different because you're not blowing air out of your skull...well, at least I don't think you are.

well your not hot headed thank God, it is perspiration, when you leave a warm enviorment your body heat reacts to the colder air and creates that steam off. Its not dehydration in any way, nor are u loosing body liquid's in anyway, as for loosing body heat I would agree with that.

Actually i dont think you were seeing steam...what i believe you wre seeing in the shadow of yourself was your breath coming from inside of your mouth and nose ...every time you inhale and exhale in the cold you can see it and in the summertime you cant cause it being to warm...so the next time you see your shadow check it out ..inhale and exhale...and im sure you will agree this is what you are seeing....
