I really can't work it out, it looks like a natural history prog at first, then he is in a studio finally he is bashing about of the drums, better that poor old Phil Collins.
Looking at the first bit, I swear its a real animal. But does anyone know the answer?????

I read that the gorilla is actually real in the beginning but when its playing the drums, its a man in a suit.

it is not real,because a gorrilla can't play the drums. Maybe a monkey could but not a gorilla.

I would guess that they got Phil to drum on a blue/ green or plain background and then ran the filming thro a pc and replaced him with a gorrilla....

no, its no real. It coould be computer animated to give it such a realistic look. Most adverts have undergone major editing anyways

it is fact actor called goran mitchell and he cannott play the drums at all and further to this it is not phill collins playing the drums either

wot a good advert my grandchildren love it and so do i thy all dance to it when it comes on thay think it s real but we know it`s not and i must say wot a cleaver person who thought of it
