I have been to her birthday party sooo many times but didnt give her a present! How? All ex-patriats are invited to a cocktail party by the British Embassy in all foreign countries. The gatherings are usually in a five star hotel and you get to meet the Consul and some staff from the Embassy. We all toast the Queen. Its really nice but its only for ex patriats living abroad NOT holiday makers. I dont think she would really want a present as she has everything but perhaps take a photo of her corgis . frame it and give it to her.It doesnt have to be expensive something simple with a lot of thought is just as good.

I would bring her a tea pot, and a big juicy kiss and a big fat hug, I would get a kick out of that , because she is just so upper crust, so untouchable, I would loosen her up a bit!

I'll get her a hot dog from a street vendor,,,,she might eat all the lavish food prepared by her chefs but I'll bet she never ate a hot dog from the streets....

I'll have to give it some thought. But I would take it, not bring it, cos I'm English not American.
