coffee is a diuretic, so it makes you pee. I suppose it can increase dehydration, so be sure to drink plenty of water too.

Coffee is a drug. Cause it has caffine in it. When you get addicted to it, like cocanie, you can't resist it. Dehydration Excessive loss of water from the body or from an organ or body part, as from illness or fluid deprivation. coffee is a diuretic, so it makes you pee. I suppose it can increase dehydration, so be sure to drink plenty of water too Water! YOu should drink that a WHOLE lot more than you drink coffee. Coffee will cause Dehydration. Because when the HOT HOT chemicals get into your mouth it make the water that you have in you melt and boil. Remeber Coffee and caffine is a drug. STAY DRUG FREE!

Eventually anything / everything will cause dehydration if you don't balance it out with water.

Me, myself, I always drink equal parts water to whatever I drink, and double if I'm having any alcohol.

i have drank more than the average person for some 50 odd years and never become dehydrated, so i would say no but maybe it effects other people differently, i would ask a doctor or maybe a nutrition expert.

Yes...

Pretty much anything with caffeine in it will dehydrate you.

If and when you are drinking coffee, be sure to drink water too.

Yes it can.... It contains caffeine which acts as a diuretic(makes you pee). If you don't drink other fluids to replace that fluid you lose you could become dehydrated.

Drinking too much can-- since the caffeine is a diuretic.
There was just an article in the paper about that problem among teens.

i heard it does,makes sence,it raises met6abolism causes heart rate to go up....after alot of coffie i could start sweeting....do yes,i think it causes dehydration,but its the events that take place that cause it...not the chemical itself.

Yes, it does. You are supposed to drink two glasses extra of water for every cup of coffee you drink....

No, not that I'm aware of? I can't see how? The caffeine in it can keep you awake, and sometimes it can give you a dry mouth, but that's all I know?!
