I took 3 pregnancy tests with this one, and all three came out negative. Two of them were taken late at night, and one mid-day (I'm impatient what can I say). If you are still unsure even after a morning test at home, I'd suggest seeing a doctor for a blood test for sure.

Good luck!

They say the best results come from your first morning urine, when your hormone levels are higher and your urine is less likely to be dilluted.

However, it also depends on which test you take. First Response, for instance, says you can take it any time of day. Just be sure it has been awhile since you last went to the restroom. Read the information packet that came with your test and that will give you more details on your specific product.

Most major market pregnancy tests are quite accurate. If you took the test correctly and it said negative, you are likely not pregnant. If you have another test, take one again in the morning to be sure.

Periods can be late for all kinds of reasons. Stress, illness, etc can delay your period or cause you to skip it altogether. If you are still unsure or are concerned about your period or the possibility of pregnancy, make an appointment with your doctor or call Planned Parenthood. They can set your mind at ease, one way or the other.

Because your first morning urine is more concentrated, it always best to do this first thing in the morning, especially when you aren't far along into the pregnancy. Also, because you bought the test from the dollar store, I am worried that it may have been old. Please check the expiration date. If the test is old, then there could have possibly been a chemical change in the test that would cause it to give an inaccurate result. I think it would be worth it to invest the full cost and buy one from the pharmacy. Good luck to you!

i am too probably preggo, and i took a test and it was negative, but im going to get a blood test done just to be sure bcause im having too many symptoms, and i also tested before i had even missed a period. i would say to wait and take another test in about 1-2 wks. (i know, a long time) and morning pee is more accurate, b/c if u are it is more likely to show up b/c your hcg levels will be high. it just could have possibly been thaht since you are that far along, the only hcg that is in your system will only show up in the morning.
schedule an appointment at your doctors office, or clinic and take a blood test. if u are ttc like me, then i wish much baby dust to ya! lol

Most of the new pregnancy tests say that you can test anytime of th day & it's accurate. I did test in the afternoon & it was positive & it was with a normal pregnancy test. I'd say try another time. I also didnt believe it first time so i tried another time early in the morning. If u are still not sure do a blood test. Good luck.

It is best to take it first thing in the morning because the urine is more concentrated, and especially if you aren't very far along then the HCG is more likely to show up in first morning urine. If you take it in the evening you are more likely to get a false negative than if you take it in the morning.

I took mine in the afternoon but they say in the am is better for early results. Like how they say 5 days before your missed period. If it is past your missed period then pm will work too. It all depends
