Yes and you can also do it in the spring-- But I would do it now.

No. Black eyed Susan's are annuals. So the die..... drop seed and new ones will spring up around where the parent was. So you have to be careful in the spring not to mistake them for weeds. Or you can snip off the seed heads and plant them where you want outdoors in the spring next year.

I'm in zone 6 above you and I'm an experienced gardener
