I don't think anyone think women can't lead. I think the issue with American presidential politics is the women who have run for president and vice president have been leftist. Had a more centrist or conservative woman run in the past she would likely have won. I remember when Elizabeth Dole was 10 points ahead of her husband in 1992 in polls. Who knows, she may have defeated Clinton back then has she run. Thatcher proved to be a competent leader, too. So it isn't a matter of gender, it's a matter of politics.

They probable sense that it does not be properly well worth the hardship because of the fact men does not take them heavily. i think of the reason alot of persons are heavily pondering Hilary Clinton is with the help of the fact she became into married to a large president, and consequently has some adventure. additionally she became right into a senator. country is the land of the unfastened, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that that's between the main sexist and racist international places in the international. It could desire to be confusing for a woman to even evaluate the assumption. additionally, It wasn't that in the time of the past that ladies people have been allowed to vote, not to show run for president.

Perhaps they are too SMART! I was hoping Condoleeza Rice would take on Hillary next year. But why should a talented, ethical woman like Rice endure all the abuse and the fund raising headaches when she can return to her professor job at Stanford? Publicly financed campaigns anyone?

I dont think that we are dumb so much as realistic. Women are not the only voters. Plus hopefully we are smart enough to decide on which candidate is the best suited to our views regardless of gender. I vote for who I feel is the best candidate in my opinion.

Actually, it may be that there have been no female presidents because men refuse to elect a woman, or an African American, or Asian American person, for that matter. So far only white males get the job. That doesn't mean they are smarter; it just means they are more electable. If you believe only the smartest or best fit person gets the job, you are extremely mistaken.

I'm all in favor of a woman being president. Just the right woman though. What's the old saying? Sometimes the best man for the job is a woman.
But please God not the one that is about to run.

if truly want the answer to this question, look at who the lobbyists back, if you look at the current president you will notice that he won the presidenticy because a major part of his platform was "bringing" religion back to the United States and also a large part of the lobbyists backed him as well. So, its not about who is smart enough to lead it is about who has the most money.

The women aren't dumb, the men don't want to have a woman running the country and they never will!

Sorry.

Well, I would say that in a misogynistic society, it is very easy to understand why no woman has ever been president. I mean, look at the fear of Hillary. I say that speaks volumes.

As for your accusations that women are dumb, I would go head to head with you anytime being tested to who is more intelligent. I think it is very dumb of anyone to assume the reason there has been no woman president is that WOMEN are dumb.

I don't hear any sayings of women like they have for men: "The bigger the breast, the dumber the men."

Show me a woman that is qualified to lead this country and has good policies, and I'll vote for her. I'm not gonna vote for someone just because they are a woman - that would be dumb.
