When I was in grad school, even though I was really dedicated and didnt procrastinate, I put in a ton of hours. Most grad students work, attend classes, have to do research and there just arent enough hours in the day to cover all this. It will be over soon. Its was worth it but I sure dont want to do it againl

It's very common. It's most likely not an efficiency thing - it's a grad school thing. Lots of work - classes, homework, teaching, grading, and research. It's a hard couple of years.
