I don't label my fellow woman -- why does she label me because I have a different belief structure ?
I vote - I am well educated - I take care of all the banking his and mine - because I have a Husband who knows what manhood is-- I have owned my own businesses - No one tells me I am "allowed" to do anything - especially my Husband of 22 years!! We respect one another enough to discuss the relationship, the children, the financial goals, spirituality, intimacy -etc.
You see ladies - it has nothing to do with a label

None of that has anything to do with being a feminist...
Strong, independent woman, sure.
Feminism was a movement...
The feminist movement (also known as the Women's Movement or Women's Liberation) is a series of campaigns on issues such as reproductive rights (including abortion), domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, sexual harassment, and sexual violence.
As a consequence of these changes, women and men have had to adapt to relatively new situations, sometimes causing confusions about role and identity. Women frequently have new opportunities, but some have suffered from the demands of trying to live up to the so-called "superwoman" identity, and have struggled to "have it all," i.e. manage to happily balance a career and family.
Feminists continue fighting conditions which they perceive as oppressive to women. Feminists observe that in more or less all areas of the world, women still earn less than men on average, and hold less political and economic power. It is believed that women's lesser earning power is due to being paid less than men for equivalent work on a significant scale. Feminists believe that women are often the subject of intense social pressure to conform to relatively traditional gender expectations.

I myself value people more than labels; but at the same time I find it curious how some labels get demonized and warped, even by people for whom the label could be applied/used positively.

Based on what you describe, I would call you a feminist in every respect who rejects the "label." Probably because you're sorely misinformed about what feminism is, that's very common. You would not have any of the opportunities you have today were it not for feminism. It's unfortunate that you bought into the backlash.
Edit: LOL no, "encatas" is skewing a WIKIPEDIA article to support her misguided belief. You're simply a Rush Limbaugh talking head. It was the far right radio talk show hosts who coined the word "Feminiazi"...so now we have a better estimate of your intelligence and there's no point in explaining anything to you.

Just call yourself Lana, a woman on to herself. I myself am a woman called (named) Laela (Layla) who does not follow the path of others; just one of my own calling. Yet, I Iabel myself as an anti-feminist, cause I do not believe in equality of the sexes, which means I can not be a feminist, nor am I a non-feminist, cause they only want part of the package. My belief is either you take the whole package or forget it.
I labeled myself so others know where I stand; you know, such as terms like Mrs. to indicate the we are married or Miss to indicate that we are single and or Ms. when we find that our marital status to be of a sensitive nature. Labels are just indentifiers to let the world and those around us where we stand, how to be addressed, that's all..

You do sound a lot like a feminist. Why would you be so averse to wearing the label? I personally enjoy wearing labels as long as I choose them.

Make up your mind, do you want to be labeled or not?
Your question implies that you do, yet your details make it clear you are anti-label.
Funny, considering how easy it is for you to toss out "feminazi" ignoring your own use of labels.

why would you ask here what you are... sorry but that definition you have to look for it yourself....
and second... noone is forcing you take any positions... but you do have to respect and acknowledge that without the movement you would not enjoy the freedoms you take for granted now.
think about that before for a bit
good luck

If you don't want to label yourself, fine. I won't either.
If this is in reference to that last question, it was talking about anti-feminist women who call themselves anti-feminist, have admitted that they don't want equality, do not appreciate what true feminism has done for them, etc.
