Keep your machine as quite as possible!
It's people like you that are ruining it for the rest of us.
The more people that complain about the excessive noise, the more riding areas that get closed down.

I own a Harley Sportster 1200 XL. I plan on adding a stage one kit and running straight pipe with custom pipes that end on both sides where the mid foot controls are now. Basically this is the formula for sound.
Stage kits make bike ready to take on straight pipe. Shorter pipe means less time for exhaust to leave

Less pipe = Louder Sound
put in a 1000 dollar stage kit and run straight pipes don't worry about which type of pipes to look for. If you don't want straight pipe try Vince & Hines, you still need a stage one kit depending on the type of bike you have.

Dude!, It's not a Car!...... If you want more power change the gearing or you can bore it out or go all out and put nitrous on it.But, louder exhaust is not going to make it faster.

loud does not mean more powerfull. don't get obnoxious pipes. we're already losing that battle.
