Where is your hymen? If a tampon won't break it then where is it?

The hymen is actually at the opening of your vagina. A tampon doesn't break it because the hymen does not cover the entire vaginal canal. There is a hole that allows menstrual blood out and tampons in. Plus, the hymen is somewhat stretchy, enough to allow a tampon inside without breaking it.

High up in the vagina.... and a tampon may just push it out of the way rather than break it
