Our back boiler circa 1978 seems to have blown a green capacitor serving the gas valve. Where can we get a replacement? Do they still make them after all these years and any idea what the part number of it would be or what I should ask for in the plumbing shop? (It's not me who's doing the fixing I hasten to add)

Any capacitor of the right Mf should do the trick but here is a place with the right parts.

All works fantastically. plenty extra appropriate than the lower back boiler eveer did, So stable success to you....i could decide for it. the recent combi and removing of baxi fee approximately £2000 and that secure 2 extra radiators. ok the recent marble hearth and gas hearth fee almost £1500 yet have been my decision , no longer a necessary part of the replace.
