I did when I was younger but later learned its natural and something that had to be dealt with. I guess I kinda learned it from my dad because he had no shame to go up in the store and buy me a huge 48 pack of pads lol and from that day i bravened up.

Not any more, but I used to be when younger. I remember once when I was about 21, I was going on holiday and me and my boyfriend at the time, were shopping for things for it, like sun cream, and I needed a box of tampons. I put them in the trolley and a friend of his pulled up next to us with his trolley and looked,as an unconscious act, into our trolley and right on the top was the box of tampons! I swear that was the longest few minute conversation I ever witnessed. I was having kittens that he saw my tampons! Even though I no longer care about them being seen I still am haunted by how I felt on that day and that was twenty years ago.

No, I'm not embarassed about buying tampons at the store. I think it's rather funny because I like to stock up so I'll buy 3 boxes at a time and I'll purposely go to the guy cashiers - the looks on their faces are priceless! They throw them in the grocery bags really fast! However, I recently switched to a menstrual cup so now I don't have to worry about going to the store and wasting money on something I'll just stick up my vagina and then throw away later. Best of luck!

Your period should never ever embarrass you unless you have an accident. : P Be proud that you're a women! When I was younger I'd be embarrassed but now that I'm older I don't care. Its a necessity and sometimes my boyfriend will do it for me if I can't make it to the store. He's not even embarrassed because he knows it's just a normal thing. He's a good guy!

No. Why should I? It's a normal part of life. All of the clerks in the store are old enough to know what a period is and that ALL women have them.

Not really, but if you're that embarassed, then go to a Wal-Mart or somewhere like that that has self-checkout lines.
