Only if your young enough to remember half term. Most adults hate it because the kids are a pain handing around the house, wanting to go out and spend their parents money. Me I'm single and look forward to half term since the roads are less congested and driving to work is a lot easier.

If you mean the end of the first semester, YES! My last day with my students is December 18, Tuesday. It's a half day of work and one of two days where the students are allowed to have a class party. That usually = 12 bags of chips and cookies, and a weird side dish that doesn't work with the chips and cookies.

Well given the fact that one girl from Wales knew exactly what you were talking about I'm guessing it's a European thing (their educational system is different from ours). I guess it could be the same thing. I'm about "half-way" through my 1st Term so ya I see where your coming from. I guess it's alright, but I'm definitely not looking forward to 2nd Term. |=5(|{ is it ever gonna suck!

I love half term - no more early mornings yee haa - I work from home so it's great to be able to be home with my daughters
England had their half term last week I believe but in Wales ours start this week

NO!!!!
Screaming kids playing on trampolines all day. Ignorant teenagers playing their music at full volume all day and then having all night parties throughout the week!!!!
Why do they do it? Do they not realise that NOT everyone works 9 - 5 Monday thru Friday.
How about having some respect for other people?

Yes, I love half terms. Spending quality time with my 3 kids. Not rushing from school or playgroup. What more needs to be said, relax and have fun.
