a few weeks ago we had to put our family dog to sleep. We had also just moved and it was an unsettling time for my son. I wanted to give his teacher a heads up as to what was going on.My son was extremely attached to the dog. When I told his teacher how we had to say good bye to the family dog and it was pretty upsetting for my son, his teacher looked at me and said...."and?"

My Pre Calculus teacher runs class right up to the bell. Over half the class goes to lunch, but I've got another class to get to, since I have the next lunch! Otherwise, he's a good teacher, but lacks time management.

My sister's math teacher isn't good at all. She contradicts herself, and everyone in the class suffers bad grades. I hear complaints daily about this woman, and I have no idea how in the world she got a job at the school...

my german teacher is french and as a result we can never understand anything she's saying.she has a very thick accent and it's hard enough to understand when she's talking to us in english O.o
also, when she sets us homework, she never actually makes it clear what we're supposed to do,or what page of our books we're looking at.Then if we don't understand the homework she gives us a detention.my friends in the year above had her last year and pretty much everyone in the class failed T_T
the good news is that we're doing okay in french :p
my headteacher is a bit of a control freak too.
he wears a cape..

Nothing anymore. We home school our children. The thing that made us mad the most is our the true lack of education (kids were truly falling behind), our oldest son was quiet and timid and other kids tried to beat the hell out of him for it and our youngest son's lunches were getting stolen and all the school staff could say in either account was they couldn't do a thing unless they see it.

That is messed up. Kids need recess/recreation and lunch to get all their talking energy out.
My kid's teacher does not do things like that. She does get on the parents to put on layers of clothing for when the kids make messes in art.

Mmmmmmmmm Obviously the child is causing more than a "mere" disturbance in her class room! Or she wouldn't be the only one having lunch with the teacher.
Ask the teacher what YOU can do to help!

I pay a lot of green for my kid to go to a private school and I think his teacher is less than intelligent. She also leaves the kids unattended or puts another kid in charge of her class. She also mispronounces words. She said the word ace is pronounced acey like the e in eat.

My language teacher absolutely HAS to be right all of the time. She won't listen to questions about grades, and I'm the only one who won't stand for it. I'll ask her two or three times and repeatedly show her where she is plainly wrong, but god forbid she fix it or apologize. Her method is simply threatening to dock my grade three letters.
