Nirvana's Nevermind came out in 1991. However, '1979' AND 'wonderwall' were both released in 1995! 5 years past 1990! For songs 'aroun(d)' 1990, would be 'Epic' by Faith No More which was the 'grungiest' being played on the radio at the time. Otherwise, Poison ruled 1990! :)
