Yes, some old war photographs my had dad had brought back from Germany at the close of World War II. I had allowed my daughter to borrow them to take to the college she was attending at the time to show to some of her classmates and professor. She promised me she'd give them back to me when she was finished with them, but I never saw them again. I accused her of having lost them, which started a big fight after she claimed that she had brought them back. Anyway, I found them sometime later on the bar in the kitchen buried beneath a bunch of stuff that had piled up. They were in the same envelope that I had put them in when I gave them to her to take to class. Needless to say, I felt like a complete a******...
