Let's see...Pitch Black was one, that was absolute comedy instead of horror. Then there was High School Musical with the worst casting and acting I've ever seen, next up is Deep Blue Sea and The Painted Veil, OMG was that one ever awful. There's a lot of s--- that's being made these days.

The actual worse movie of all time is "Closely Watched Trains" I made the mistake of taking a first date to the movie when I was in college, in 1965.
It later won the Academy Award for best foreign picture.
Which has led to a lifetime of inside jokes about a terrible movie being an Academy Award winner.
It was a serious movie about World War 2, but was one of the stupidest things ever produced.

The "best worst movies" are the ones that star legitimate movie stars and you say to yourself "what the heck is that person doing in this movie".
That being said; there is a 1984 movie starring Sean Connery titled "Sword of the Valiant: The Legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight". To call this movie awful would be to insult awful movies. Sean must have needed to make a mortgage payment or something.

I am writing a book on horror movies. I had to sit thru Satan's Cheerleaders. Let me tell you how terrible that was. It wasn't even a T & A horror movie like the title suggests. And it's main special effect was making the screen flash red when someone was being possesed. By far the worst piece of crap movie ever made

Sparky, when i first read the question the first thing that crossed my mind was Napolean Dynomite, that movie just sucked!! at least some dancing, music, and story line effort was put in You Got Served.
i really have no idea why Napolean Dynomite became one of the most fasted quoted movies....
