The were The Dead End Kids, The East Side Kids and in later years known as the Bowery Boys. I think those are some of my fav. movies. I have about 20 or so of their movies.

I think they were in the forties. Yes I remember them. Still seen on the classic movie stations .
Starring Huntz Hall I believe.
Looked it up. Started in 1937 as the dead end kids.
