It's easy to judge someone without knowing fully the reasons for their actions. Once you have been subjected to the same pressures and persuasions they have, it becomes easier to understand why they did what they did - something for which you judged them immediately without knowing the circumstances behind their actions.

The same goes for : You can't judge a book by its cover - which means that before you can judge something, you need to take a deeper, closer look at it.
The value of something is not always obvious from what we see on the surface, so we should save our judgments until we have more experience.
I thought I would answer your question with these old song lyrics - - Enjoy! They are self explanatory.
If I could be you, if you could be me
For just one hour, if we could find a way
To get inside each others mind
If you could see you through my eyes
Instead your own ego I believe youd be
I believe youd be surprised to see
That youve been blind and so have I....
Walk a mile in my shoes
Just walk a mile in my shoes
Before you abuse, criticize and accuse
Now if we spend the day
Throwin stones at one another
cause we dont think first -
And when you strike out
Youre tryin to hurt me
Its hurtin you
I may be common people in your eyes
But Im your brother
Now there are people on reservations
And out in the ghetto
And brother there, but, for the grace of god
Go you and i,
If I only had wings of a little angel
Dont you know, Id fly
To the top of a mountain
And then Id cry, cry, cry
We do this in every walk of life, economics, appearance, body size, jobs or careers, class structure - even crime...
For example people tend to feel more liberal towards certain crimes UNTIL they or a loved one has been the victim..

it means that you shouldn't criticize others until youve walked a mile in their shoes.

it means that: you do not have the right to say negative things to or say somethinhs to peolple unless you have the same life experiences that they have. becausse by then, you will know what they feel and maybe, what they think.

It means that unless you have had the same life they had, you could not understand what they have done or how they are thinking.

You never know why others do what they do so its not good to judge them. You dont know what its like to be them so you will never totally undertand their feelings or reasoning.
