Given that the 'rich' have legitimate interests the federal government, as administered by both parties, have an obligation to defend those interests, but not cater to them. Legitimate is legitimate...special 'rights' for the already well to do is the problem. The Republicans tend to be far more 'friendly' to the plight of the rich than is decent, but the Democrats as a rule are only slightly less 'friendly'. This is a function of the expression......money talks and bull#@$% walks!

Of course they are. It's always been that way. It's the same for the poor. It goes through cycles on the rich being represented a little more from each party.
You hear about the more about the democrat rich right now but that doesn't mean that the republicans do not have their rich.

Absolutely. Oh wait, Michael Bloomberg is poor suddenly because of the Republicans, I forgot. Who is George Soros? Isn't he the guy that gives money to Mrs Clinton for whatever reason?
Then the run of the mill people out in the country that have gotten an education and worked their way up to become rich. Those people are Republicans.
I'd say they are both represented.

Yes, absoluetly. Both parties talk about how they will help the poor and often they mean it. Republicans and Democrats just have differing beliefs on how best to do that. But neither wants to bite the hand that feeds them, and those hands are rich. So both parties curry favor from their ultra-wealthy donors.

i'm an self sufficient, besides the actuality that generally mischaracterized as a republican simply by fact of my conservative values. I quite have consistently believed in vote casting for human beings, no longer events. I overview the guy working in line with their checklist, or in absence of checklist their platform and then make a determination in line with who maximum suitable displays my hobbies and evaluations of ways i think of issues must be. regrettably recently curiously too many don't symbolize any hobbies different than their very own no count number what they call themselves social gathering clever.

yes, look at all our leaders and candidates, not a poor person among them yet they claim to represent them and some really buy into it. money drives both parties and George Soros, who want to change America to a socialist country is the leading contributor to the Dem's, move on.org, air America, who would not be on the air if not for him and his money.

both parties make their money off them, some do it underhanded just like they did before and faced scandals but they are doing it again cause it pays and they can keep most of the money.

There are different types of wealthy.

Democrats and liberals represent those who inherit it and those who earn it suing people. These are some of the ways. The point here is the wealth is generally not created in the private sector. There are some, but few exceptions.

Republicans and conservatives represent generally those who earn it through building a business or businesses.

These are two completely different mindsets. Earn it through your own efforts and you will treat taxes differently.
