For example, if you already have a layout for your page and you want to see how a different one would look, without having to go to the edit page and erase the code and paste the new code every time to see which one looks the best.

Most layout sites will give you a preview of how it will look, for a general idea. If you want to see for your specific page you could always make a duplicate account to try it out, or save your old layout (copy and paste it to word or something so you don't lose it), and then try the new one.

I personally don't like myspace and I use http://yuniti.com because I can make my own layouts. I hate having to copy someone elses codes. Yuniti doesn't require coding (you can if you want) but it lets you select different colours and stuff and it is built in + you can preview.

How about you set up a second myspace account (new name) and experiment with the layouts on that then when yuo are happy you can update your real page- then cancel the other page.
