Someones probation officer got my tracfone number years ago and kept calling and would not listen when I told him there was no one by that name at my place. I put up with the calls for months and was even told by him that I was delusional and he had never called before. I told him I could see it on my call log and he had been warned to leave me alone. I had to change my number because he would not stop.

I had an obscene phone caller, who slammed the phone down on me when I told him that lying naked on his bed, would mean he could get a cold willy. I must be the only person in the world to have upset an obscene phone caller. Does that count?
Otherwise I just say, "no thank you" and put the phone down. I'm afraid I'm the type to upset the callers. I refuse, for instance, to give any details over the phone.
But I did have a bad experience with a delivery company who lost by package. That was awful. The Customer Services Manager refused to help me. And when I laughed and said he was pointless, as he was unable to help this customer, he got into a huff and ... slammed the phone down.

I had a collector call my house and call my wife a lazy (B-word) when my wife refused to speak to them about my credit card account. There is a law against that in Illinois. It's called "Harrassment". When I got home later that day, I took the call when she called back. She asked me for my social security number, and I told her I wasn't giving her my social security number, so she read it to me (big no-no). She then asked me to verify if that was it, which I declined. Then she was threatening to take me to court, and called my wife and I names. She was like "fine, if you don't want to cooperate, we will just see you in court."
Calling her bluff, I said "Okay, when?"
"Tomorrow."
"Really? Tomorrow? That soon? Wow, you guys are efficient! What county?"
She named the county I live in.
"Okay, which courtroom am I scheduled to appear?"
She replied, "The XXXX county supreme court!"
"Wow! The supreme court?! So this is already in the appeals process? I don't remember filing an appeal, but okay. How about instead I sue you for harrassment and invasion of privacy and for giving out my social security number to somebody before you even were able to verify their identity?"
She got her supervisor on the phone. He verified that I was not going to confirm anything with them, then the call ended. I never heard from them again and never was made to pay whatever the balance was.

MYSELF!!!
I use to be one of those scum bags who call you up in the middle of dinner to sell you credit card insurance. I sucked at it.
One night was particularly bad for me. I had gotten cussed out repeatedly. We were not allowed to end the call until the contact said "no" three times. This one guy wouldn't say no, he just kept berating me. I finally had enough of it and let loose on the guy. I was raised by a Marine Corps Master Sergeant, I can cuss someone out in style! When I finally hung up on the guy, I looked up and saw the quality control manager in his glass booth pointing at me. He called me in and told me that even though he had wanted to do that for years, and it was great to hear it done, he still had to write me up.
I quit that horrible job a few weeks later to flip burgers. I'd rather shovel horse poo than do that again!

The telemarketer spilled boiling hot coffee all over his lap while on the phone with me. I just thought he was really excited about selling vacuum cleaners, but now I know.

Never had one.. do what I do...
Put them on hold... for 10 minutes... go back and
tell to please hold another 10.. and if they still are
there... disconnect the call.
Amazing how they won't call back!
