Me and my little sister want to make or buy something for our grandma's 70th birthday, but we are not sure what, because every year we give her special soft toys or wine or chocolates and after lets say 45 years of that it must be pretty boring! Anyway...any ideas?

All they really need is love.
This is an age when you are beyond mundane gifts. But then, there may be little things that make her comfortable. Find out and give those.
Maybe, take her to a parlor to get he hair done. Or a good pedicure and head massage.
These make one feel so good.
Or, buy a favorite perfume.
Or a soft, warm, robe she'll wear all winter.
Old people need extra warmth.
And wish her a Happy Birthday from me too!

A 20 year old male stripper.
Seriously, my sister and I gave my mother a birthday party for her 70th birthday. We went through her address book and asked long time friends to help locate childhood friends, classmates and relatives she'd lost contact with. She cried for 2 hours. She loved it!

I know it sounds some what strange, but,
fresh fruits!☺
Make sure she is not
allergic to anything that you give her first.
Also maybe some classic movies
from when she was a teenager.
My grandmother (91) love socks and slippers as well!
Tell your grandmother I said happy birthday!❤

Unless she's loaded, give her a gift certificate to walmart or simliar store. The big gift is promising to take her to shop. Your presence would be her true present.

A really warm blanket. As people get older they get colder and a warm blanket to snuggle up in will show you care and you can have it monogrammed to put your names on it.

I bought my eighty-six year-old grandfather a snug woolen duvet. Try something like this.
