I agree.. however not everyone can write a book.. I know I couldnt.. but yes, for certain authors I do wish there were more. I find myself taking 2-3 days to read the last couple chapters of a good book just to make it last longer.. lol

Yes, yes, yes!!!! I looove to read and am sad every time a book ends. I've just ordered Jack Kerouac's "On The Road" and can't wait to get it. I have read it more than 100 times so my copy is so worn out, I needed another. How about old classics we were forced to read in high school? I still go back to them as old standbys - Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, Metamorphasis... Have you read anything by John Irving? World according to Garp, Prayer for Owen Meany, Cider House Rules...
My 15 year old daughter has a knack for writing and my hope is she will become a renowned author...
Happy reading!

I think you will find, actually, once you get over thinking you already know what it is you want to read, that there are more great books in this world than there is time to read them.
When I was younger I only wanted to read science fiction. I gobbled it all up and felt the way you do. Then one day I discovered Mark Twain, and he led me to the understanding that there were endless numbers of books that would surprise me once I rid myself of the idea that a book had to be science fiction to be good.
If you are lucky and make this discovery, you'll see what I mean.

No. That is a new one on me. I have never thought of that. Pretty much any time I want a good book I can find one. There are millions of books. They are everywhere. You can even get them for free!

there are so many good books out there. Just keep looking I'm sure you will find something. I just found a great new book its part of the Marguerite Henry books. It just depends on what type of books you like.
Good luck in your search
