I am a mother of a 5 month old and I am expecting my 2nd in April. I am about 15 weeks along right now. With my first pregnany I never felt any pains or aches besides lower back problems in the last month. This pregnancy I have been feeling an achein the lower part of my abdomin, my hips, and my lower back. It is not painful, I just feel like I have done alot of abdominal exersizes or having standard period cramps. I read up that it is my ligaments stretching and tht seems to sound like what I am experiencing, I just wanted to see if anyone else has been through this, does it seem that that could be what I am feeling, and what did you do to alleviate your aches?

I had TONS of round ligament pain. Its just from all the stretching you have to do. It happened to me a lot when I would make sudden movements, change position in bed, or lift too much at work. It is perfectly normal. To get the pain to lessen I would just get a glass of water and sit with my feet up and sit for a while. Not too technical or medical, I know, but it worked for me.

So jealous you didn't have that with your first baby!!! But I guess every baby is different!

TONS of aches in those regions. OMG! To the point where I can't sleep at night. Hot showers, pillows between the legs at night, swaying from side to side, rub your sides with some pressure. Other then that, there really is nothing you can do to relieve this that I have found.

Good luck and congrats on #2.

You are exceptional in the sense that you didnt have these with your other pregnancy. Ive never know someone who didnt.

They are totally normal.
