I have been married to someone from a different culture for almost thirty five years. The only thing that I would say is a little difficult is that he speaks his language around his family and I don't understand it. That is partly my fault because if I tried hard enough, I guess that I could learn it. Other than that the cultural differences are fun and not at all offensive to me. He had been in my country for many years before we met, so he had already adapted to this country. He also loves this country very much and has no intention of ever going back home.

I am not married yet to my man and I think it is good because we get to see the possible differences and the possible problems that may occur sometime in our future married life. Of course, if you belong on different culture there will be culture clash. I think one better "information", as you say it, I can share with you is both of you can accommodate and you don't have to assimilate. You can meet halfway for the differences which will make the relationship work better in the end.
